Hi Joan, Actually I was thinking of searching you out on this :o) So for a little more perspective we are a long way from par despite the relative gains by the Loonie. Are US farmers that much more efficient than Canadian counterparts ? We are still talking a 30 cent differential here. That's a lot of competitiveness to overcome. If so at what exchange rate differential would you guesstimate that the US / Canadian farmers are evenly matched ? When I had my first car and motorcycle the Canabuck was 1.02 US :o) BTW we are already hearing a lot of exporter belly aching regards the exchange rate up here. regards Kastel
