You know how it goes, if it supports your case its true. Even government stats, if they support your view they are accurate but if they tell a different story they are "rigged".

If the trade deficit is bad, having it moderate is worse. If the dollar rising causes problems and dislocations then having it fall from that height is far worse. Its terrible that we don't save enough but starting to save now is a disaster. Its terrible that people kept right on spending during the downturn but its even worse if they start to moderate their spending. If we are worried about deflation it means inflation is the real problem unless of course we actually do get deflation then that's the worst scenario of all.

Get with the program, all news is bad.
