Even more alarming for the technology industry is the forecast that IT budgets' long-term growth is likely to be limited to just 5 per cent a year, a far cry from the double-digit expansion of the late 1990s. Clearly, the climate of the IT world's ecosystem has been fundamentally altered, sheesh, I wonder who is the audience for these things. Certainly not the pros who are obviously buying tech stocks now. Nothing has been "fundamentally altered" what a bunch of hooey. Everything is as it was before, pre-bubble.
