Alex,

Life is good. When we last spoke, there were concerns about getting the antiquities out of Iraq.

The situation is more severe than then, so we are advising all of our clients to keep those treasures in storage and DO NOT try to bring them to Europe or America at this time. We will let you great benefactors know when the "heat" is off and you may transfer the artifacts to your favorite museum or "art dealer" for tax-deduction and community acclaim.

On the political front, we have now secured Paul Bremer, a Henry Kissinger operative, and former employeed, in Iraq now, so the carpet-bagging may begin in earnest.

Speaking of carpets, the carpet market presently is flooded with cheap imitations made in Italy, so we have advised our other clients to cut back the supply to America and to focus more on the date markets.

We will be in contact as developments warrant.

Hey Yaacov : Are you going to be around this summer? I need to discuss war with someone who knows something about it. Your fighter pilot friend. JFD
