No, zonder, its not the "estimate" of someone in Washington. Didn't you read the articles you posted? It's the count (not estimate) of the military guy in charge of recoveries in Baghdad.

You've also said the thirty or so artifacts were an early estimate made "before" the recovery of thousands of artifacts found in the museums vaults. No again, the story makes clear the count, repeat not estimate, was made after the recoveries. The articles you posted made this clear.

I suspect you are reading your bias into the story not what the story says.
