No I am still here marveling at how you get so excited over a trolley stock that shuttles between two stops 15 and 17.
First Barrick offered up the hedgebook of the century, second we got an enormous buy back program. The result the shuttle continue to chug between 15 & 17. The reason, as the price of gold continues to rise, the calls required to offset their short positions are becoming more and more costly. Should gold continue to rise, the premiums on those calls will get richer and richer. As those premiums continue to effect the abx income statement, we can expect more doublespeak about lower gold grades, market inefficiencies etc from their public relations.

All aboard for the next stop 15.
