jrhana,

The quick and dirty way to get started is by reading some of the articles on Greg Palast's site:

PALAST, GREG: Globalization Topics gregpalast.com

His book, "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy" is excellent but not strictly devoted to globalization issues.

I'd recommend that you link to the Amazon reviews to get more of a flavor of each of the books.

I can tell you that Greider's is somewhat deperessing, at least to me. He expresses very well the human impacts of globalization.

Stiglitz was an economist at the World Bank who was fired for his views. Which I happen to find noble, as I find the World Bank to have become a corrupt tool of a cabal of venal Wall Street banker/sharks. His book has more of an economic/academic flavor.

Other than that, just follow the links. You'll find something of interest. :)
