Raymond,

The discussions on ADM closing plants in the US and opening plants in China and Brazil are contained in their annual and quarterly reports. This process has been going on for a few years.

What I was trying to communicate is the food processing industry in the US is a mature industry, it is not growing and the companies like ADM and Cargill have been closing plants over the last decade to get their output equal to demand from US production. These companies will idle a plant overnight if inventories build.

I am sure we will find some food production contracting in the US. A lot of the fruits I buy at the grocery store come from overseas.

Small grains and beans products have characteristics where transportation costs are relevant and this will play in the global competition picture.
