I guess you would at least sympathise with those of us who have not seen the same footage and, when faced with a choice between yourself and the Independent, believe in what Independent says on this event. I don't know if you are familiar with UK newspapers, but the Independent is highly respected. It is not "The Sun" or "The Mirror". I would think it highly improbable (bordering on impossible) that it would publish a lie, or even misrepresent for some agenda.
