There should be laws reigning in this type of nonsense. A prime example of blatant greed is EMC giving Tucci 75,000 options granted at a penny apiece. How can anyone justify this, especially after a 3 year downturn in the share price? I am considering parting with my shares for this very reason and this reason alone. I am disgusted after what I have been witness to in this market over the past several years, and unfortunately more seems to surface each day with greedy execs who are not satisfied with even an eight digit income.
