dougSF30:

"Why 7.77? As opposed to 7.76 or 7.78? Just 3 7's for luck?"

1. It was the last significant resistance point from which AMD regressed.

2. Escape velocity at $7.77 should provide enuf "thrust" to escape the "gravitational" clutches of $7.50 oncer and for all.

3. Just for luck!!!

"I believe a test of $77.77 would be an even stronger confirmation of upward momentum. :)"

Can hardly wait, but may have to wait 7 months for that to unfold!!!

As for today, there appears to be some formidable volume chunks to absorb at $7.60 (strong $7.50 gravitational pull - for whatever (options???) reason)...Need (and it will occur) a couple of large buyers to jump before we can reach escape velocity at $7.77!!!
