NYC Mayor Bloomberg is going after $100 mil in taxes he says various countries owe the city for running profit-making ventures from their diplomatic sites. One country ran a restaraunt in its Consulate.

The UN is truly messed-up -- but it is the only game in town. The US could work towards making the UN a viable organization, or it can do what it is doing now and take advantage of the opportunity to kill it. Killing the UN is one of the dumber things that the US can do. We are about to find out why that is the case in Iraq.
