Turn the power of and restart the computer. You should start up in normal mode.

Apparently something went wrong and your computer booted back to Safe Mode. Have you rebooted? If so and the colors and screen resolution are still look funny (this boots you into a mode where all your drivers don't load so you can troubleshoot) you have to identify the problem. What version Windows are you running?

err... another way to get out of saftey mode... a bit harsh.... if u let the system boot half-way and cut it off, it will pull up a screen on the next boot, that lets you choose.

normal or safe mode...

If you have problems, and u go to normal mode, it may not boot though.. and you'll have to do the same half boot. go back into safe mode, then fix what's wrong and reboot in normal mode again.
