Storage revenues are also down significantly over the past 2-3 years. EMC sales are down 35-40%, NTAP down 10-15% since 2001.

storage networking and security will probably outperform. CSCO did what, 10 million in SAN this quarter with expectations of doubling every quarter? that should be easy to do for a year or so...

yah and java is a real CPU and storage hog. Java and the n-tier architecture is the best thing to happen to hardware companies since the resistor <gg>
