Maybe we are off topic of sars

Yes you are. Please take this to PM.

(But you could easily have had allergic fungal sinusitis, which wouldn't be cleared by an antibiotic. Need a sinus CAT scan and an ENT guy to take a look with a scope).

Hi,
I did the allergy thing also and to no avail. The condition arrived in May and I thought I might have been allergic to pollen. Not so.
We had been doing some adventure travel in Belize in February and had picked up a bug there and we were having trouble shaking it after returning home so given your Malaysia/Singapore story perhaps........
In any event I hope I never get it again. I remember not wanting to do any social activities because I was so plugged that I couldn't hear properly and had trouble speaking because of reverb. Then when suddenly everything would release and I'd go on sneezing and runny nose fits for an hour or so. It was nothing to use a half a box of tissues at these events. I had trouble eating because I was so plugged up there was no way to vent through the nose to allow food to go down. People would not realize how necessary that is for swallowing. And yes..the sneezing...terrible. Based on your experience, it suggests that I was wrong about pesticides. In any event It's over and I have no symptoms now, not even the sneezing.
Sorry Bio...last post on this ..thanks.
