rkral, dorsey wright is a service for a monthly $25. fee at www.dorseywright.com. It came out of the technical analysis format and point and figure charting. the vertical analysis is the dw's technical analysis process of projecting the vertical calculation of the vertical price movement. DW's anaysis uses point and figure charting for the market in general, sectors, specific stocks, bonds, mutual funds, bond funds, etc. You will need to review dorsey wrights book to get details. Gottfried, has another site which he refers which at one time was free.. Paul
