These people were living there, then Jewish people started coming in. I guess you are not going to dispute that.

Now, as you said, the central dispute is that there are two nations and one land. Regardless of whether or not there were the same people's ancestors living in that land thousands of years ago is irrelevant to the discussion.

Don't get me wrong, I am not at all saying Jews should pack up and go, leave the place to Palestinians. Just that in the problem of "two nations, one land", as you have formulated it, one sympathises with the guy who was already there when the other decided to come in and push him to the side to make room for his own people.
