What I clearly stated was that Bush made money by influence peddling, not by actually effectively finding oil & gas or engaging in what normally passed for being a success in the awl patch. Bush was engaged in something that is a corrupt practice most qualified business observers disparagingly label as "crony capitalism". After the December, 2000 coup d'etat, conditions have worsened in the U.S. and the world by almost any scale you choose to use. Except for John Ashcroft's splendid record of shredding the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Oh, and the theft of 11% of the world's known crude oil reserves. That was quite the excellent bit of war plunder that King George secured for his bribers and coterie of cronies. Cheerio!
