If by then Iran has tested a nuclear bomb as Ledeen claims they will, then he will have my everlasting respect. But if nothing happens, then we have to agree he weaves half truths and plays into prejudices to further his own views. I am even willing to grant him double that time and wait till the end of the year.

Here we go again, ST. You are inferring things that Ledeen never said. What he said was:

Within the past two months, leaders of Iran's Revolutionary Guards were informed by the country's National Security Council that the country would soon have nuclear weapons, and there are some well-informed people who tell me that the regime is hoping to be able to test a device by the end of the summer.

So Ledeen is not wrong if no bomb is tested.

The Mullahs want a bomb and are building one. There is no doubt of that. You can quibble about the way Ledeen describes what is happening, but the end result is the same.

We are not going to allow them to have a bomb. You can bet your sweet bippy on that.
