One, the world is full of corruptions and some conspiracies are more than theoretical. Two, politics and power are very likely to corrupt the human beings who are most emboldened by them. I also note that you seem to be an insider? So, your ranting about the power guys is a little salty. As far as the tinfoil hat...just reshape it into a pyramid and I think it will suit you just fine.
