Right for the wrong reasons, though a partnership deal will likely come soon. All of us biofreaks are surprised at the rapidity with which Velcade was approved. I didn't mention the possibility of approval because you folks typically work in short time frames, and I expected a decision in a couple of months. I figured the partnership could come before then. MLNM now in a very strong negotiating position for having waited.

This could give some extra juice to biotechs in general, as it signals a sea change in the FDA under new boss McClellan. I would expect them to outperform the market for a while, though summer may bring its usual bargains. With the latter in mind, I had sold most of my biotech holdings over the last few days, looking to pick through the ruins for gems in July.

My Mom, however, holds a fair chunk of MLNM, and so I guess I won't get disinherited.
