This thread is a fine collection of various and often entertaining imaginings, imho. Predictions? Now that's another kettle of fish. That post relates to various "tin hat" scenarios ref'd by Ray, meaning indications of corruption and deceit beyond our naive and credible norms, and the question of what use is it to ponder such... To which I reply that it is useful to the extent it offers predictions of future activity and possible remediation. So far, like the Bush cronies who shorted Harken as soon as Junior was installed, shorted the stock market when the regime was installed, shorted American Air on Sept 10th, betting that this economy tests positive for the virus of extreme corruption is a good bet. As the gospel says, "we shall overcome", but only after difficulties beyond our more naive imaginings.
