The point, as several people have now made, is that this kind of personal attack has nothing to do with the adult Bush as President of the United States. He is not an addict and was a pretty normal mainstream young man (for his time) when he was drinking and drugging. He grew up to be a wiser and more consciencious adult as did many who learned valuable lessons from that era. He is pretty much on the fringe of his religion, so your 'fanatical' comments belie your fanaticism not his. It exposes your extreme need to find anything, no matter how remote or inane it is to advance the left wing radical agenda. It says a lot about you and really accomplishes nothing in regards to the issues that matter. Are you unaware of how obvious that is?

Lets talk issues and principles. I am sure we can find plenty of argument or interesting things to explore on substantive topics. waddyasaaaay

I'm surprised someone into tecno-parties would be so repressed when it comes to drugs and altered states.

I had supper with a former meat-eater the other night and when I pointed out he was spreading an animal by-product on his bread he explained he was not a true vegan and his wolfing up escargot proved that.

These people all have a deep seated need to announce to their forced audience they are vegetarian i.e. special and that means they don't eat meat. I thanked him for his announcement.

A friend quit drinking alcohol 13 months and 5 days ago, I know this because that is how he starts any conversation and I just talked to him a few minutes ago. I'm never sure if they are bragging or in a lot of pain for their former state.

As for Bush I don't think he is really religious, I think he is playing to the audience that will help him get elected again. Is there any word on how the Christian missionaries are making out in Iraq? Have they saved souls yet?
