For those unit holders who are worried that these trusts are a Ponzi game, they have the freedom to refuse to buy future units from the company in question;

For those unit owners who are concerned that the future units are being offered at too cheap a price to newcomers and too dilutive to existing holders, they can take their accumulated distributions and buy more.

I really prefer this energy trust total cashflow distribution system to that QCOM absolute money retention schema.
