I just got around to ordering a 512meg stick from Crucial for my newest box ..... a bottom of the line Dell 2350 ...
which came with 128meg....

I've not put the box under much of a load yet ... but, I'm fairly impressed with how it does handle QCharts and TWS from IB at the same time ....

the CPU usage shows a pretty continual draw of under twenty percent, with occasional spikes to 100percent ... but even during fast markets it has stayed steady in a lower range of what my three other boxes draw (p3 and two p4s)

this is the only one I keep running with XP as the others are earlier Win98se ....

over the past years, I've found that the small amount of money more that Crucial costs (sometimes even less than the competition) that their mem sticks are very good....

this 512meg stick cost me a bit less than 70 dollars taxed and shipped ....
