I agree they have been hurt badly by the lack of something compete with Sky Fi. Apparently, they will have something in the next several months, if they can make it happen (they've missed a couple of deadlines on that already). This new Kenwood PNP isn't going to sell, though -- it is just like the Sony and the Sony didn't sell after the Sky Fi came out.

I think it does help SIRI having some of those sports products as well as NPR, even though the NPR is a watered down version. When people make the decision, they don't know it is watered down, so it helps them make the sale.

The financial statements sucked pretty badly though, and they really didn't disclose any of the key stuff like what proportion of the new subs were Hertz. That, to me, was an important figure to gauge how the market is taking to SIRI, and so they're leaving you to guess.
