I've picked up the impression that those symptoms were pre-existing in the pts treated; V certainly was no help for those symptoms in those pts. When pts without those symptoms were treated with V, they tended not to develop them.

V will now be available to pts much earlier in the disease process (after only 2 failed treatments rather than 6). I have presumed that healthier pts with fewer existing symptoms would be in that pt population. In these circumstances, is it unrealistic to hope that side effects from V may be minimal rather than pronounced?

No big deal. I was just wondering if you had side effect insights that I have missed.
