Of course not, I was the one who said acting on shareholder's desires in some cases would only be enacted by a management team bent on total liquidation. The shareholders suggesting that tons of people get fired think that they are acting on the best interests of the company. The problem is, that in many cases they don't know what they are talking about.

As far as digging up posts, I don't want to do that with SI's poor search algorithms, but if you want to see it, just look up techtonicbull or room222 from the Sun thread for their take on staffing levels, salary even location of HQ facilities which are appropriate for Sun. Really, it doesn't take much to see that many shareholders on SI feel that that they have the ability to make management level decisions which are more strategic than the management in charge.
