Sorry for the confusion.

The file name is: Interview.mpeg

However, it is actually an mp3 file.

My friend uses RealPlayer (I hate it and don't) which recognizes it as an audio only file (mp3) and plays it.

Windows MediaPlayer does not.

I cannot find a way to tell the stupid operating system that the file is type mp3. I can only edit the "Interview" part of the filename. I cannot edit the ".mpeg" into ".mp3".
