Tim: LOL!! Good for that guy, whoever he was. I spent the better part of a couple of hours a few months ago, watching a cop operate his laser gun along the QEW highway. Nice guy,..... just "doing my job" as he put it. During just the time I was there, he (and his "assistant" cops) must have pulled over at least fifty guys. All walks of life from old geezers to young guys in their heated up civics. Through the whole piece I kept thinking to myself, what the heck is the value of this whole exercise, as not one of the folks pulled over were driving recklessly, just above the posted limit. In the end, I asked the cop if he ever thought about what the impact of this kind of activity might be with respect to the public's perception of the police force? He really didn't want to discuss it. Best, Earlie
