A 15-year-old girl who had been treated in mid-March as a pneumonia patient recovered from her fevers and chills after taking antibiotics, and was discharged on March 24. However, in follow-up tests doctors discovered she had developed antibodies that indicated she had in fact been infected by SARS. Unlike many in Hong Kong, she had successfully fought the virus without the use of Ribavirin. What is more, none of her family-members or classmates have been infected.
