That's quite a divergence between TYX and SPX. Somethings gonna have to give..

Internals positive again today. I suspect that equities will remain strong.

Changing the view from 6M to 2years>

This says the SPX is just getting back to meet the TYX. Though, in Mar 02, they both reversed trends, with the SP headed lower and TYX headed higher.

Looking back to 94, there is no correlation>

Looking back to 98ish (5yr), the SPX is getting back down to the same range, but it doesn't have to stay there.

All of this tells me, not to make much of the chart. BWDIK LOL.
