He became big out in liberal San Francisco of all places about 2 1/2 years ago, and then WABC radio in NYC started airing his show and it really got to his head, and fairly recently MSNBC picked him up.... After 911, I would watch CNBC almost every trading day, but before this latest war in Iraq, they turned me off with their excessive coverage about Iraq to the exclusion of almost everything else going on in the country or around the world, so I labeled them the "War Channel" and placed them on the back burner....
