Kastel,

Re: What if the Shia majority get their democratically elected government of the faithful ?

I sometimes find it hard to believe how naive some posters on SI can be. Almost to the point of obtuseness.

The Shias in charge in Iraq? My friend, the polar ice caps will melt before the Shias gain power in Iraq. The U.S. stole Iraq's oil, fair and square. Do you think the Bushistas would just give it away? Pure delusion on your part.

Re: Do you see a recipe for real unrest in the ME ? or will Bush just annex North Africa to Iran ?

I'm glad to see I didn't need to step in between that question and answer. :)

"Annex" though, is a problematic term. Faux News continues to report "liberation", while the documents working through the UN Security Council clearly state "Occupying Authority". It's really just the same, eh?

Re: Yeah it sounds so simple eh! Let's see 15$ oil = destabilize Saudi Arabia ... A plan maybe.

You are not thinking strategically. $15/bbl oil destabilizes and destroys the Russian oil industry, not the S.A. industry. The S.A. royal family can't be destablized with the oil blackjack. That's why the Bushistas are playing the terror card. Keep your eye on the prize. Bush fully intends to steal S.A. oil ASAP.

Cheerio!
