This reinforces what Grace was saying. Basically that it was common knowledge, for anyone who did a little bit of research, that the y2k bug was not that big of a deal. Therefore the Fed acted irresponsibly with the money policy in anticipation of the y2k non-event. It wasn't only the Fed with the money policy, the government y2k remediation budgets were astronomical and for the most part, were spent on stuff that either had no connection to y2k remediation or was connected, but was unneccessary.
