I have a problem with WordPad. After I open WordPad and cut and paste information into WordPad, I wish to save it into a MS Word file. In the pull down menu I do not get the choice of MS .doc type. If I select and type an extension of .doc, upon opening the file with word. it opens as a text document and I lose the formatting. How do I correct this?

assign shortcut keys to load things such as WMP, msnger etc...

it goes ctrl+alt+ (assigned key)

I have done this on other machines but can't seem to locate the procedure necessary
