because the deflation that Greenspud is worried about has nothing to do with everyday living...rather it's his terror felt for the stratospheric, highly leveraged, derivatized, securitized, artificially inflated and by any measure bankrupt national and global banking/financial system. His concern for the stock market only extends to the point where the financials can unload their accumulated junk on J2P.....If the banks became solvent tomorrow then to hell with the stock market...it's an insane pyromaniac that throws gasoline on a fire and then is consumed by the lovely conflagration.
