Its bizarre in the extreme. I'm starting to think that the Fed needs cover to keep the real rate below zero.

So my gold stocks can fly away :)

I believe Money growth has slowed considerably in the past few months BTW. Interestingly we could be facing increasing prices of the imported portion of the goods we buy [countless 'real' things] even while while demand for those goods is slack to declining.
