She claimed Iraqi women were better off under Saddam than free of him, excusing his tyranny on the grounds that he "really kept a lid on" the clerics. I took issue with her and you said she was "right," posting an article to support your claim. Right about what then? Though there was plenty more to dispute in her post, that's the only point I addressed, yet you said to me that she was right. Pardon me for not reading your mind and realizing you were arguing an issue no one had raised.
