>>Also, what happens if more than 6 of us note that there are no earnings being reported to the IRS while there are tons of eps being reported on CNBS? <<

Don't worry, be happy, Mike. No one cross-check the IRS record with EPS reported on CNBS<g>

BOSTON (Reuters) - Chances are 50-50 that General Electric Co.'s (NYSE:GE - News) largest union will call a national strike next month, a union leader said on Thursday, just days before talks on a new labor agreement are scheduled to begin.

"There's a 50-50 chance there will be an open-ended national strike," said Ric Casilli, business agent for local 201 of The International Union of Electronic-Communications Workers of America (News - Websites). "If we go out, it could be for a significant amount of time."

GE spokesman Gary Sheffer said, "The rhetoric always gets a little hot as we approach negotiations. Our focus is sitting down and working out a mutually satisfactory agreement, as we have in the past."
