<<So you believe this is bad news in the short and long run? I have been out of the loop on SUNW. I used to be a big shareholder who wasn't smart enough to get out in time (3/2000). Do you like anything about SUNW?
>>

Do you realize who you are asking this question to???

Anything Crystal says, should be taken with a big grain of salt. This person was so high on Palm, he/she was buying non stop all during the bull, bought loads at the VERY top, kept buying ALL the way down, and even bought right before and after the 20 for 1 reverse split. Then, he/she claimed last week, that he/she made a huge profit on palm. I dont think this person has all his/her marbles together. Then, he she was on emc thread telling evrybody that EMC was one of the 30 DOW stocks....anyway, this person lost so much money on PALM, and everything is in writing, only to pop up pumping it again recently talking about all the profit he/she made. Tell me, how does one buy all the way to the top, all the way down, then right before and after a 20 for 1 reverse split, and the stock is now down 50% from the RS, yet he/she made money??? How does one buy a boatload of a $200 stock, keep buying, and then keep buying before and after a 20 for 1 RS, which took it from a penny stock back to the teens, only to slowly drop back and back and back.......Just be careful who you listen to and good luck. Personally I wouldnt touch SUNW. It could move, but only if markets move, due to it's name and share price. When people just buy and ignore Fundamentals and TA again, sunw could move, but IMO, she is at best a $2 stock. She doesnt have much anymore, except cash. Did you see the last earnings report?? Pathetic is an understatement. BUT, like I said, if the bull comes back, SUNW certainly could make a nice move, but I think investing in SUNW right now is akin to going to vegas. It's all a gamble...one that could pay off nicely, or one that could flush your money down the toilet....best of luck

<font color="red">MSFT's BALLMER & ALLEN CASH buyers of SUNW possible: <font color="blue">Bill Gate's Microsoft co-founders Steve Ballmer and Paul Allen are increasing CASH in their personal portfolio's at a time when the dollar is falling (devaluation) in comparison to other currencies like the Euro, which begs the question, if they are going to CASH and probably will not hold devalued U.S. Dollars, what will they buy with their new found CASH? In a surprise announcement Steve Ballmer (Owner of 471 Million Shares of MSFT is selling to even out his portfolio, CNBC speculated that this would be more than selling 1 million shares to 470 million, and is probably sales of 71 million shares of MSFT to achieve an even 400 million shares balance. Selling 71 million shares, and MSFT stock price currently running at $24 -to- $24.50 today we are talking $1.5 to $1.75 Billion dollars. Compared to Bill Gates est. 1.2 billions shares this is still small change, but in CASH, what would it be used for? Since the dynamic duo usually act in concert, and usually according to some well planned strategy emanating from Mr. Bill himself. At the same time, MSFT co-founder Paul Allen is downsizing staff and other changes at Vulcan Ventures and the companies he controls, again increasing CASH, and what will this CASH be used for? These announcements come right on the heels of SUNW and ORCL announcing closer partnership agreements, and everyone knows that Oracle's Larry Ellison (Sharing the Fortune 100's top 5 richest men in the world spot with Gates/Ballmer/Warren Buffett and Paul Allen) and CEO McNealy of Sunmicrosystems are both arch rivals, outspoken arch rivals to put it mildly, of the Microsoft and Intel "WIN-TEL" monopoly in the software industry. Threatened by the SUNW/ORCL partnership, it might just be easier for BALLMER and ALLEN to buy control, or a controlling interest, of SUNW, as Gates himself did years back with other rival software businesses, such as, for example, when threatened by the likes of BORLand and CORL (Wordperfect's Corel) (MSFT now owning about half of CORL's stock) Corel also being long time partners of Ellison's Oracle database and CRM software solutions the key rival to MSFT entering the enterprise market. I expect a lot of SUNW to be bought on these rumours, until Ballmer's CASH lands either in SUNW stock or elsewhere.
I am,
Truly your$,
