The latter has been going on for long enough time for everybody to start thinking about the alternative. Or we all got tired of the ride up the rollercoaster - can we have a downride and a twister and a double-barrel now pls(ng).

EDIT >>Until the rest of the world and especially Asia can wean themselves from dependence upon the American consumer, the dollar will remain artificially high. << Amen, for the good of us all. But, it will be painful for some time coming.
