That is hillarious, albeit a tragic expose' of our system.

It always amazes me when I read statements like:

"The Texas Rangers... began to scour the state for the fugitive politician,..."

OK, like under every cacti and bridge where he may have a hide out. Good plan to leave no stone unturned.

"...finding him three weeks later in his mother's house."

Three weeks to decide maybe they should check with the one person in the world most likely to care ... Was that an efficient use of law enforcement tax dollars?
