Actually, I said that... But the "revealing of god" by way of physics has been an implicit perspective of many physicists.. After all, was it not Einstein who stated "god does not play dice with the universe"??

And was it not Stephen Hawking who felt cosmology was one of the means of exploring the "mind of god"??

I think it's pretty fair to state that many major name astro-physicists/cosmologists hold such a belief...

Personally, when I view the utter chaos that is quantum mechanics, I find it difficult to believe that order just manifested itself without some form of ruleset being implemented any more than I can imagine a "SimCity" style artificial intelligence just "happened" without the need of the original programmer to write the code.

And maybe it's just instinctive for most of mankind to not accept that theire isn't some supernatural, or at least, extra-terrestrial force responsible for us being rational, while the rest of the animal kingdom operates on instinct.
