it's been a lot of years since I read "Stranger in a Strange Land" (I realize that the translation into other languages may have been different), but yes, I remember that. It may be more than I can get my brain around at the moment though.:-)

Actually I was taught of dimension as being just another variable

I was told just plug in N=3,if you insist-This was however considered rather pedestrian.
