Some feel civility is not due to off topic touters. Try reading the header before you spam.

This one would be more appropriate:

Subject 32970

Given that you've started things off on the wrong foot, good luck engaging anybody. Bye now.

Cheers, Tuck

Cher izona,

This thread is for commentary on a biotechnology stock-picking contest for charity, which started in January. Each member pledged a donation to go to the winner's chosen charity, and entered a portfolio of biotech stocks. These ports were frozen in January, and we are all stuck with them till the end of the year. Then, we _all_ lose the amount of money we have pledged.

Therefore, any recommendations of any stocks are out of bounds for this thread. There are a zillion other places to post in SI. Please take your recommendation to an appropriate one.

Also, you might forgive our colleague, Scott. He's not doing very well in the contest, but at least he made a contest port, pledged a donation, and designated a charity.

Post #1 explains this in great detail.
