It's starting to slowly sink in. One of the frustrations I had as an employee was thinking I was alone in seeing the big picture possibilities but complete unempowered to do anything about it. Understandable. I was pigeonholed as an admin, despite my depth of experience in programming, running my own businesses, and doing business process analysis. Kinda like how a company hired me to do programming long ago then forgot that I was a programmer because I was better known for having written the company's software and process documentation. They'd be surprised when I'm come up with new utilities the users needed but hadn't asked for. Very exciting that once I get through the drudgery of porting this over to "my world", technically speaking, I'm going to be able to make this into what I've always felt it can be.
