My philosophy about things like news is simple and very firmly entrenched: Other companies do it and do it very well. I have a personal favorite who, if they talk nice enough to me, may take the place of the previous news provider. Basically, if it costs money to provide, is something I don't consider a core functionality of message boards (whether about the market or about politics), or involves competing in a space in which there are very competent, established players already doing it better than I could ever hope to, I tend to just let them.
