so you deny that ANSWER and WWP are communist backed organizations??

and we might have been able to go to the congo also, but the way clinto decimated the military, we have to be careful of being spread too thin.

I'm not an expert about West Africa, but the region is especially rich in natural resources - including very large reserves of oil. As far as the French military goes, even their recent history in the region is not exactly stellar. If the U.S. did send troops to help "stop the killing there" in the region, it wouldn't surpise me if you would start complaining about "American Imperialism", and that it was all about the oil and diamonds.
