Yeah, we hated to do that, but it was completely unavoidable. It was my call, so blame me.

We needed to get it moved to KC and that was the neatest and quickest way to do it.

I'll be going up to the ISP again this week to pick up some shipping boxes and will try to remember to take a picture of the setup. It's very impressive. Almost completely fills a good-sized cabinet and the cable layout is true artistry. I'll probably try to get there on Saturday to also take iHub down but for a much shorter time. Maybe 15 minutes to move it into a cabinet right next to SI's cabinet so it'll be easier and neater to move it into SI's cabinet when space allows. One of the highest priority projects right now is to replace the backend, composed of 3 database servers and a large RAID array, with a single Dell 4600. That by itself should make enough room in the SI cabinet.

And after that conversion is done, I'm going to wipe the old drives and am thinking about selling the machines on eBay. They may have some value beyond their intrinsic value just because of what they were used for. And their intrinsic value may not be too shabby. Serious hardware! I'm probably just going to keep one of the webservers for myself as a keepsake.
